- If you would like to have your child(ren) dedicated on Saturday, May 10 or Sunday, May 11, please mark your communication card in your worship guide and let us know which service you will attend. Be sure to leave a contact number or email so we can get details from you regarding your children's names, spelling, etc. A letter will be sent to you with additional information.
- Hume Lake Transportation
- Junior High and Senior High School Summer Camp at Hume Lake is coming up quickly, and the youth will be needing transportation. If you are willing and able to drive our youth from church to Hume on June 8, or Hume to church on June 14, please contact Pastor Ryan (714-3444).
- Substitutes Needed in Adventure Club
- We have teachers who will be away May 11, May 18, and May 24-25. Will you be here? Want to help in Adventure Club? Please contact Janet Hann. Thank you!
- Kingdom Kids Saturday Night Needs You
- We have a great group of kids coming to the Saturday night 6:00 p.m. and we are looking for a new teacher. Interested? Call Janet Hann.
- Women at the Well
- Ladies, are you seeking friendship or maybe some meaningful connection with other ladies? Perhaps you need direction or biblical advice from ladies who have already experienced the same challenges. A new group ministering to women by providing hope and encouragement, the opportunity for connection, and direction for growth has started and will be an ongoing, join-at-any-time group on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at Grace church. Women of Faith materials will be our guide through this journey. Child care is provided. Please Call Christa Ring or Sally Childress for more information.
- Agua Viva/Youth Ministry Fundraiser
- We'll have a car wash fundraiser for Agua Viva Missions and Hume Lake Summer Camp on May 10 (Mother's Day weekend) at the Elk Grove Teen Center, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
- Acts Devotional
- If you didn't get one, be sure to pick up a copy of "Get Up and Go," a devotional guide on the book of Acts which follows Pastor Rick's series for the next several weeks. A suggested donation of $2 will cover the cost of producing the booklet.
- Youth Collecting Recyclable Containers
- Please save your cans, plastic and glass, and bring your collections to the church. The youth will gladly go to your car and retrieve your containers for you. The money earned will help raise additional funds for our youth events.
- Adult Youth Workers
- The Youth Ministry is looking for adults and youth parents to begin working with our youth on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. There is a real immediate need in this area of our church. If you have a desire to work with youth, please consider this ministry as a way to serve. Contact Pastor Ryan at the church office, 714-3444.
- Men's Ministry Ballgame
- Guys, we need to know if you are interested in going to a San Francisco Giants ballgame. We have two dates: Saturday, July 19 or Saturday, August 23. We'll need at least 25 people to get the group reservations, so feel free to invite friends, family, brothers, sons, uncles, you get the idea. Please check your interest and date preference on the communication card in your worship guide, or contact Ron Dean.
- All Church Campout, August 1-3
- Each summer, some of the families at Grace go camping together. This year we're going to Grover Hot Springs, August 1-3. We are letting you know now because you will need to make reservations for a camp spot soon. If you are interested in going, please call Jim Ring. There will be people in the church lobby handing out information. See you there!
- Directory Updates and Additions
- If you are new to Grace, have just never signed up to be in the directory, or have an addition or change to the current directory, please pick up a "Directory Update/Addition" sheet from an usher or from the Information Counter in the lobby. Thanks!
- Grace Prayer Connection
- If you are not on the Grace Prayer Connection list, but would like to be, please give us your name and email address on the communication card in the worship guide. Our church office manager, Cheryl Morton, emails a list of prayer requests each week for anyone on the Grace Prayer Connection to pray about during the week. It's an honor and privilege to pray for our Grace family requests.
- Interested in Short Term Missions?
- Do you have a heart to reach out? Is God prompting you to take part in a short-term missions trip this summer? Pick up an informational flyer in the lobby today. If you would like to find a local outreach to plug into or support our missionaries, please contact Sally Childress.
- Connections Café is Looking for You
- If you are interested in serving in the café, please indicate your interest by submitting the online form below, turning in your worship guide communication card, or contacting Katie Caudill.
- Ministry Opportunities
- Please check out the "Ministry Opportunities" binder on the information table in the lobby, or read about the opportunities online, and get plugged in to your area of giftedness today!
- Connections Café Books
- There is a bookshelf in the corner of the café with discounted books to be purchased. The prices are marked on the backs of the books as a suggested donation. Checks can be made payable to Grace with "books" on the memo line, and put into the donation basket in the café.
- First Time Attenders at Grace
- If you're new or visiting Grace for the very first time, please stop by the information table in the lobby, leave your communication card, and pick up a free gift from us!
- Sunday Morning Messages
- You may now order the messages on CD or cassette tape. Just fill out the order form in your bulletin, or online, indicating CD or tape. We will process your order and have it available at the information table in the lobby the following week. Please put your payment in any offering basket or box, or bring it with you when you pick up your tape or CD. Thanks
- Journey of Joy Building Program
- For those who would like one, you may receive an update of your "Journey of Joy" giving to date. Just check the appropriate box on the communication card (or use the form below) and place in the offering box. Also, if you have not had a chance to get involved with this program yet and would like to, please indicate that as well on the communication card.
